Literacy Homework Week Beginning October 7th

1.          SPELLING/LITERACY ASSIGNMENTS:
SPELLING:
·         Study spelling words from last weekThere will be a spelling test on these words.
Scribe comes from a Latin word meaning write, and scope is from a Greek word meaning look or observe.
Port means carry.  Transport means to carry across.

       Read another book of your choice!

·         Where does the story take place?
·         Name the characters?
·         What is the plot?
·         Write one or two paragraphs on what the book is about.
·         Did you like the book?  Why/Why not?
·         Would you recommend others to read the book? Who would you recommend to read the book?
·         Why should they read the book?
·         Draw your favorite part of the book to share with your classmates.
