6.         Find an interesting article from a Newspaper or from the internet  – no more than 5 paragraphs
On a separate piece of paper answer the following questions.
·         What is the name/title of the article your read?
·         What section of the newspaper did you find the article?  (Sports – Entertainment – Headlines, etc.)
·         Who wrote the article?
·         When was the article written?
·         In your own words write what the article is about (1 or 2 paragraphs)
·         In your own words rewrite the 1 paragraph and the last paragraph of the article
·         Did you like the article?  Why did you select the article?
·         Circle all of the new words in the article.  Use your dictionary or thesaurus to find the meaning.

7.         Read a book of your choice every day!
On a separate piece of paper, answer the following questions:
·         What is the title of your book?
·         What is the genre?
·         Who is the author
·         How many pages?
·         Where does the story take place?
·         Name the characters?
·         What is the plot?
·         Write one or two paragraphs on what the book is about.
·         Did you like the book?  Why/Why not?
·         Would you recommend others to read the book?
·         Write the names of at least 3 people who should read the book.
·         Why should they read the book?
·         Draw your favorite part of the book to share with your classmates.
